Blog Evaluation
My job role in the organising of the dance show was in the marketing team. This meant I had to help advertise the dance show and design and make all the poster, tickets, programmes etc. There were five people in our group, me, Shaunie, Katie, Lucia and Nicola.
Our first job as a group was to design the audition posters. This was done by me and Nicola, but the others put in some ideas. After that me and Nicola went and put them up around the whole school, in the bulletin and on the TV screens. This was completed very quickly which meant the students had plenty of time to see them and choreograph a dance piece.
Next we had to make the dance show posters. Shaunie, Katie and Lucia designed 4 different ones and showed them to the class to see if they all agreed. Then me and Nicola had to put up all the new dance show posters around school, taking down the audition posters as we did so. Unfortunately we realised a mistake on the posters so they had to change it and reprint them all again. Me and Nicola had to run around school taking down the wrong ones and replacing them with the correct ones, luckily this didn't take too long and no one really noticed.
Finally, we had to design the tickets and programmes for the show. Lucia, Katie and Shaunie designed the tickets and sent them to me and Nicola to go to Tim and get them printed onto small pieces of card and then photocopied. While we did this, they designed the programme and found out everyone's names who were taking part in the show so they could be put on it. This was a hard, complicated job so we made a few mistakes, but managed to solve them in the end.
