Blog Summary.
My job role throughout the dance show was in the finance team with two other people, I feel as though we worked really well as a team as we was able to organise everything with co-ordination.
With the time our group was given we were able to organise ticket prices and our total income of the Dance show. We had meetings with other areas of the dance show to discuss financial issues such as the price of the skirts that the costume area was ordering for one of the sets of chorography. There wasn't a great amount of money spent on the Dance show as many of the costumes was provided or was planned to bring from home. Also the set design was free of charge from Baintons so there was no need to discuss money for that. We organised a year 7 disco but unfortunately there was no tickets sold so we had to cancel the event. We also had a student night on the Wednesday where the tickets were sold as £1.50 to attract more people to attend.
Also during our organisation time we had a meeting with Mr.williman to discuss some possible fundraising ideas for example; cake selling, teacher bunny hop and the Disco. This went real well as we got confirmation to go ahead. Also we had a meeting with Mr.Wardman to get him to ring up Baintons and ask about set, once we got baintons making our set we left it to the set design to arrange where everything was going.
On the blog I made multiple conversations asking other people to do things to help us out. For example I wrote on it asking Beth vowels from the secretary group to write a letter to Mr.Williman to have a confirmation about the Disco and I also wrote on it telling Vicky and Emma Rignall that the video clips was appropriate to the scheduling of the Dances. Then I wrote on it to let everybody know the Year 7 disco was cancelled due to no tickets being sold.
Thank you to everybody in the Dance show teams we had a brilliant outcome and we all was involved. Thank you Miss Hardy and Mrs.Grantham to making this show happen J
