Blog Summary.

My job role throughout the organising of the show was the finance team. There was three of us in this group and we worked well together. We communicated and listened to what we all had to say and got on with things as a group without many problems.

Within this time we were given the tasks of fundraising, ticket prices and budgets for other groups. Each group didn't really need a high budget. This was because the set from baintons was free of charge and most costumes were either already in school or for each student to buy themselves. This also meant that there wasn't much fundraising needed. We organised a year 7 and 8 disco that was 5 days before the show but it was later cancelled due to no one been aware of it and low ticket sales. The ticket prices were set at £2.50 and a price of £1.50 for students on the Wednesday night to attract more pupils.

During this time we also carried two extra tasks. The first was arranging a meeting with our head teacher, Mr Williman. This was to discuss our different fundraising ideas and get him to confirm that we can go ahead with them. This was needed because some of our ideas included the teachers, such as the teacher gunging so we would need to make sure this was acceptable. The second task we carried out was the baintons idea. Our finance group organised with Mr Wardman to get baintons to do our set for us. Once it was organised, we left it to the set design group.

I think my group also contributed well during the team meetings and did well letting the rest of the class know what we'd been doing in our group and what we had achieved. We also discussed money with the costume team and made sure they had realistic aims and also to know how much more money we would have to raise.

I think each group did well during this time and help to make our show a success. All ideas were creative and helped us make our show unique.
